Dear vascular scientists, physicians and surgeons from all over the world,

It is a very special pleasure for me to invite you all to participate in the forthcoming 28th World Congress of the International Union of Angiology to be held in Beijing on October 18-21, 2018.

This congress will be hosted by the Chinese Chapter of the International Union of Angiology, which is the youngest, but also the largest chapter of our Union, with more than 1500 members and 25 branches covering the whole spectrum of vascular sciences and practices.

The Organizing Committee, led by Professor Yong-quan GU is preparing all the best ingredients that will make a great scientific meeting as well as a unique cultural and human experience: a thorough scientific program with a distinguished faculty of international and Chinese experts, a convenient venue with all the needed facilities nearby the Olympic Stadium, and of course the thoughtful Chinese hospitality.

This Congress will certainly be a landmark in the development of the International Union of Angiology, and the perfect illustration of its commitment as the "World Vascular Forum".

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is my great honor and privilege to invite you to attend the XXVIII World Congress of the International Union of Angiology which will be held in Beijing, China October 18-21, 2018. It is a meeting that being described as “Vascular without borders”, experts from different fields including vascular surgery, vascular intervention, vascular medicine，phlebology, cardiology and sonography etc. will meet to share their latest research findings and expertise in clinical treatment and care.
This event will be held in conjunction with the 14th Chinese Capital Vascular Symposium (CCVS), which is recognized as one of the most

influential congresses of vascular surgery in China and brings together vascular surgeons, interventionists and diabetic foot specialists. In addition to the scientific program, the congress will offer abundant choices in social program, such as Peking Opera show, acrobatic shows, Kongfu exercises, gala dinner and many more. You will have an amazing experience in exploring Beijing-a rapid developing old city, and getting to know the Chinese culture in all aspects.
